weekly weigh in

After my pleasing weigh in last week I went away from group feeling confident about the week ahead. I had no plans to put me off track and I was determined to lose that one more pound to get me back to my pre-Christmas weight. I was doing really well and completely on top of things until stress just got to me one evening, and I delved into the biscuit tin… Oops.

I managed to stop myself after 4 or 5 (!) and though they tasted good at the time, I regretted it immediately afterwards. I wiped the slate clean though and was straight back on it the next morning and completely on plan for the rest of the week again.

Before I get to the weigh in, some Insta meals for you:

Weigh in time. Even after the biscuit fiasco, I went to the group feeling confident about a loss, even if it was only a little one – I would have been happy with 1lb. So when I got on the scales and saw a 0.5lb gain I was pretty gutted – like almost burst into tears gutted – as I had no idea where it could have come from.

As I said above, I did have a few biscuits but during that day I’d only had 1 syn so I wouldn’t have been much over at the end of the day – certainly not half a pound worth! But never mind, onward and upward (or downward) for next week.

  1. Please try not to feel bad about a small gain, it could be down to anything. Try to brush it off and focus on the next week.

    1. I know, I’m over it now and back to it! 🙂
