Gone are the days when paying 6% to 7% of the price you got for selling your house just had to be given to a real estate agent as an obligation. This was due to one simple reason: because they helped you sell your house! The good news, however, is that this isn’t a necessity anymore and if you’re in talks of selling your house, it should please you to know that doing so is highly possible without the assistance of a real estate agent – not to mention, you keep the 7% they would take otherwise! Chatterbox Walls personalised print | Review
I have mentioned before how I love personalised items, especially those to brighten up my home, so when the guys at Chatterbox Walls offered me one of their prints to review I gladly accepted.
The selection and ordering process is so easy. The website is simple & well laid out so you can easily look through all of the available categories & prints, with the most popular displayed on the home page.
After looking through literally all of the prints as I just couldn’t decide, I finally settled on the ‘Our Song‘ print. It’s a simple print, with a record and your song name printed on it, with your names at the bottom. As we had our first dance at our wedding to Rule The World by Take That, I obviously chose this one as it holds special memories.
On this print there are four options for you to personalise with your details – artist, song, name 1, and name 2. You can also choose from 23 colours; I chose the red with white text as my hallway feature colour is red.
There are then 4 sizes to choose from – small, medium, large or extra large (and they also do a canvas version). I chose the small (A4) size as it would sit lovely alongside the other prints in my hallway of the same size. Once you have decided on all of your options, you can add your print to the basket and choose another, or continue to the checkout. On the next screen is the basket – before continuing to checkout you get a handy little pop-up which asks if you would like your print framed (this costs £16.99). The checkout process is easy – you need to input all of your usual details (name, address, email address) and then checkout via PayPal. You don’t even need to have a PayPal account as you can use a debit or credit card to pay through the service.
My print arrived very quickly and I was eager to see it in the flesh. It arrived in a hardback envelope to protect against being bent or damaged, which is something I always expect when receiving an item such as this. The first thing I noticed was how bright the colour was, and how glossy the card was. Added together, the print looks fantastic. The quality is so fine and it looks exactly as it did on my screen. It is also printed on thick card which is a bonus as you don’t really want thin card, though I suppose it wouldn’t matter so much if you were to frame it like I did myself.
All prints start at £14.99 for the small size. I’m not sure if I would pay this as the company where I have previously bought my prints from are a little cheaper; but only because of this reason. The quality, personalisation, ease of purchase, and delivery speed all make it worth the price if you see something you really like, especially as delivery is free too (though you can upgrade to premium delivery for £6.95).
My rating – 4/5

ElevEase Shower Step | Review
During my pregnancy with N, I suffered with backache right from the beginning and it was pretty awful towards the end. This made “grooming” my legs a real problem – it hurt so much to bend over to reach so I went for the gorilla look mostly (I even tweeted about it under #pregnancyproblems) – it’s a good job I was heavily pregnant through the winter so as not to scare everyone!
Having PCOS means when I defuzz, my hair grows back really quickly and if I want to wear a dress or shorts in the summer months then I have to do it every day. Ever since N arrived, I’ve suffered with backache more than I did before; it’s never really gone away. When I was asked if I wished to review the ElevEase shower step I thought it would be good to see if it helped the problem.
The ElevEase shower step aims to help people who have back problems do everyday beauty regimes with ease and reduce the pain whilst doing these tasks. So it needn’t just be used for shaving legs – it can also be used for exfoliating, tanning, toenail painting, and moisturising (among others). It is simply as it says – a step, which is fixed to the corner of your shower/bath with the special strong adhesive which is included with ElevEase.
To affix ElevEase to your shower requires 3 simple steps:
- ensure the shower surface is clean & dry and apply the supplied adhesive to the back of the step
- fix the step to the corner of the shower at the knee height of user and hold tight for 3 minutes
- leave to bond for 24 hours without using the shower.
The shower step has a slanted surface on which you rest your foot, and also a handy holder for your razor. I chose the white step to review but it can also be purchased in chrome. It is made of very strong plastic – obviously it needs to be to hold the weight of your leg. There are guidelines on the back of the step that show you where to apply the adhesive – which has a strong, pungent smell by the way! But I suppose this is from the ingredients required to make it so strong.
CanvasDesign.co.uk | Review
In our little family I absolutely love taking pictures, even though hubby is usually either pulling a silly face or I can’t get a decent one of little man as he’s always on the move! I have so many photos stored on my laptop but hardly any on display as I just never get around to getting them printed, so when I was given the opportunity to review a canvas from CanvasDesign.co.uk I was delighted as I also love canvas prints. It took me forever to choose a photo but in the end I chose this one of little man which I took on our first family holiday to Scotland when he was 6.5 months old:

Paper Themes Personalised Poster | Review
When I was offered the opportunity to review a personalised poster from Paper Themes, I jumped at the chance because I love personalised items, and am always looking for lovely things to add around the home. There are a choice of 50 prints on the website so it was hard to choose, but I eventually cut it down to 3 prints and finally decided on the Stork Blue poster for little man’s room.
The poster came well packaged in a cardboard tube, and was wrapped in tissue paper with a lovely sticker on it:
