I recently blogged about my little curly locks and how I couldn’t bring myself to get it cut.

Well, his fringe was now reaching to the bottom of his nose so I decided it was time to take the plunge! Today was the day. I was determined to leave him with some curls though; I just can’t part with them (no matter what anybody says, yes you know who you are! Teehee).

I was dreading it to be honest; number one – because I still didn’t really want to do it, and number two – because he is a wriggle bum and likes to nosy at everything! I went prepared with raisins to feed him to keep him still! He had to have biscotti’s beforehand too as we were waiting around 20-30 mins and he kept trying to escape from the shop!

He was finally called over and we sat him up on some cushions and he had a funky cape around his neck. I was pointing at him in the mirror to try and distract him as he loves posing! It didn’t really work though because every time someone made a noise he had to turn and have a look! I was also shoving raisins in his mouth as fast as he ate them!

Big boy

I asked for his curls at the side to be cut short, but just trim the ones at the back, so he still has curls! And of course his fringe was trimmed. He looks such a big boy now.

Curls are still there!

So little man finally had his first hair cut at 16.5 months old.
