Slimming World weigh in #30 – the highly unexpected one…

After my gain last week I was determined to lose that this week. As I said last week my decreased appetite had returned and I was really just eating a load of rubbish. This week though as much as I wanted to eat, I just couldn’t as it was too painful owing to a wisdom tooth infection – huge blooming ouch! The times I could manage to eat I just grabbed whatever was about, and with the pain I didn’t feel up to cooking either so more rubbish was consumed. I went to the emergency dentist the day before weigh in though and was given some antibiotics which I have nearly finished now (before I go to my usual dentist next week) so it’s helped with the pain and I’ve been managing to eat a bit more, and been a bit more on plan than I had been too.

I don’t have many again due to not eating a lot, but here are some of my IG posts from last week:

So I went to weigh in this week hoping for a bit of a loss, but I wasn’t expecting it when I saw I had lost 4lb! I think that’s the most I’ve ever lost in one week – not that I’d wish for this pain more often to lose that much! It meant I also went down to the next stone bracket, and I’m now only 0.5lb away from my 2.5st award – hopefully next week! We also had a discussion about how much we could lose by Christmas, and I figured if I lose 1lb a week I could be at target by then – a huge motivation there!

My stats for this week (week 30):
  • starting weight – 13st 4.5lb
  • previous weight – 11st 2lb
  • current weight – 10st 12lb
  • loss this week – 4lb
  • loss so far – 2st 6.5lb
  • Club 10 target weight – 11st 13.5lb – achieved 05/05/15!
  • final target weight – 9st 6lb

  1. Well done on your loss. I really hope that you feel better soon and the anti-biotics are working. I'm dreading this weeks weigh in. Seems like I have had two bad weeks in a row. I really struggle to put aside a bad week and make it a better one. I think that is something I really need to work on. xx

  2. Wow well done on 4lbs!
It is crazy when you work out how much we could realistically lose by Christmas, so inspirational to look at it that way.

    1. It's crazy isn't it!

  5. If I lose one pound a week between now and Christmas I would be at target. Totally possible – it can be done! I just need to pull my finger out and focus rather than messing about each week. I think I need to get on with planning. 4 pounds in one week is such a good achievement! Keep going lovely! You can do it!
