I recently posted my thoughts on the Slow Juicer from Panasonic; this recipe is the first juice I have ever made. On first thoughts you may think – apple and raspberry, yes; apple and carrot, maybe; but mix them all together and it seems a bit of an odd combination. Raspberry juice isn’t one that is come across very often.

I can tell you though, it is delicious. The apple gives it a little tartness; the carrot a more savoury flavour; add raspberries, and it adds sweetness and makes it a beautiful colour! I almost didn’t want to drink it. All four of us loved it, and it’s a real thirst quencher. It is super super easy too!

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 200g apple, chopped into 2cm pieces
  • 200g carrot, chopped into 2cm pieces
  • 150g raspberries

There is no need to peel the apple or carrot as the juicer will remove the skin as pulp.

Method

  • Making sure the juicer is set up and turned on, slowly feed the ingredients into the feeding tube, alternating between all 3.
  • Watch as the juicer works its magic and makes your juice.

  • Enjoy!
