As an adult, I don’t really like to wear clothes that make me stand out too much, so I guess I dress my boys in them instead – I love to see colour on children, they are born for it! I’m always on the lookout for brightly coloured t-shirts for the boys to jazz up jeans or shorts, and I love a funky print too. So when Tiger Prints offered us a choice of t-shirt to review from their website, I was eager to find something that Jacob would love.

First I had to decide what I wanted printed on the t-shirt, and as the boys are having a dinosaur themed birthday party soon I decided to go for the Roaring T-Rex Dinosaur T-Shirt. There are so many designs to choose from on the Tiger Prints website though that there is pretty much something for everyone – I actually want a unicorn one for myself! 😉 I knew I wanted a bright colour for Jacob’s t-shirt so I decided to go for orange as he doesn’t have any that bright at the moment and I thought it would be great for summer time too.

The colour looks bright on the screen but it is so much brighter in real life, really eye-catching! The dinosaur print on it is great quality too, very sharp and not at all grainy. The quality of the t-shirt is brilliant – it’s not thin, cheap material that you would find in cheaper high street stores; it’s thick yet feels thin enough to be cool in summer, and feels like it is made to last a few years which is great as it will get passed down to Noah when Jacob outgrows it!

Tiger Prints review

As for the fit, I looked at the sizing guide on the Tiger Prints website and decided to go for age 3-4 as although Jacob is almost 4 years old, he is quite skinny with it. It fits really well; it is loose fitting so not uncomfortable, but still fitted enough not to be overly baggy, so I would say the sizing is quite generous.

I found that even after washing the t-shirt a few times, it didn’t shrink or become misshapen (again, like happens with some cheaper high street stores) and the colour didn’t fade; it is still lovely & bright!

Jacob loves the t-shirt too, I think it has become one of his favourites now he likes to choose his own clothes! I probably wouldn’t usually spend as much on a t-shirt for the kids as they get dirty and/or damaged so easily, but the quality of this one is well worth it. The cost is also the same no matter which children’s size is chosen.

Age: starting at 3 years, up to 13 years
