Even though I’ve been blogging for over seven years now, I haven’t yet attended a blog conference; so BlogOnX will be my very first one! It was a bit of a last minute thing, after my lovely friend Sarah asked me if I would like to go with her. (Her blog is very new so go and give it some love!). I’ve heard a lot of great things about the Blog On conferences over the years so I’m super excited (if not slightly nervous) to pop my conference cherry with it!

I came across the Introduce Yourself linky over on the Blog On site so I thought I would, well, introduce myself!

I love a spicy pizza and when I was pregnant with Noah I became addicted to a create your own combo from Asda – spicy cheese, spicy beef, spicy chicken & jalapenos. I could just eat that now!

You can have dinner with any three guests dead or alive – who do you choose and why?

Gordon Ramsay – because we could have a swearing contest. And I have a bit of a weird shouldn’t but would thing for him. Ahem. My Nanna – I loved spending time with her and she was a big part of my life growing up, but I never got to say a proper goodbye to her before she passed away. David Beckham – because I could just stare at his tatts all day long.

Up to now what would you consider being your biggest life achievement?

It sounds cheesy and cliché, but my boys. At one point I thought it would never happen, but I fought and fought. And I still fight every day, trying to break them apart! I think that’s a big achievement in itself 😉

  1. Well I definitely think you have picked the best conference to go for your first. I love Scotland but haven’t been very far up yet.

    1. Crazy enough, we haven’t actually been anywhere in Scotland other than the Highlands!

  2. I love that photo of you and Rachel – big smiles 🙂

Don’t be scared, remember every other person feels exactly that same as you – even those who have been to tons of conferences! We’re very friendly and hopefully you’ll have an excellent day. I’ll be on the sign in desk – safe trip! 🙂

    1. Thank you! 😀

  3. Heh, I recognise the quote of course, but I’ve never actually watched the whole of Dirty Dancing – only ever snippets here and there. My wife loves it, though. And I suspect our kids, all dancers themselves, would love it too.

    1. It’s one of my favourite movies!
