My husband is such a difficult person to buy presents for. He never really asks for anything (except a new car, but I can’t afford that), so I have to guess what he would like, and he usually ends up with lots of little bits. He doesn’t read (so not like me), so I don’t buy him books, but The Book Of Everyone is different. I think he will like this one and maybe, you know, actually read it…
My thoughts
The creation process of The Book Of Everyone Paul was so simple. To begin the process, you need to give a few simple details: the recipient’s name, gender, date of birth, and the age you would like in the book (current age or age on their next birthday). You can also add who the book is from. Then press go, and your book will be automatically generated based on the amazing amounts of information the creators have gathered over the years.
Some pages can be personalised (too many to go through here!), and some are standard. But there are so many pages with fun facts, it was like a learning journey for me too! Some of the pages are facts such as the biggest movie of the year of birth, what song was number one on the day of birth, the recipient’s name in sign language, the fashion of the time, and even a lovely biological factual poem!
The book’s quality is brilliant; I went for hardback, but you can purchase other formats. Other books also available are The Book Of Mum, The Book Of Dad, a romantic edition, and even a Christmas edition! The pages are thick with great quality, glossy print, and it’s a joy to read through; I imagine even more so when you know it’s personalised to you. I would adore one of these for myself; it would be on my bookshelf – it’s fab!
