Little man’s first haircut

I recently blogged about my little curly locks and how I couldn’t bring myself to get it cut.  Well, his fringe was now reaching to the bottom of his nose so I decided it was time to take the plunge! Today was the day. I was determined to leave him with some curls though; I just can’t part with them (no matter what anybody says, yes you know who you are! Teehee). I was dreading it to be honest; number one – because I still didn’t really want to do it, and number two – because he is a wriggle bum and …

Little man’s latest escapade

On Sunday we had another hospital visit with little man. Last time it was to the out of hours doctor for his chest infection; this time it was a proper A&E visit, his first one!  We were outside, I was hanging the washing out, and he was playing with a football. Outside our front it is full of grass, but out the back it is just paving slabs, and our washing line is out the back. Obviously I don’t like to leave him inside on his own, so he has to come out with me, which is much easier now …

Little Mister Curly Locks

When little man was born, he had quite a bit of hair. This is it the day after he was born, whilst having his first bath. First bath Ever since then it has just got longer and longer. Walking wonder

He did it. At a few days off 15 months, we finally have a walker.  For a few weeks now he has been taking a couple of steps here and there, but has become really proficient at walking holding just one of our hands, as we do it at every possible opportunity.  Then we were at stay & play last week, and I was just sat down watching him, and he took about 8 steps. Then he did it again. But then at home he wouldn’t do it any more.  Fast forward to a visit to the inlaws, and in …

Never mind the terrible 2’s…

Never mind the terrible 2’s. I think in this household it’s officially the terrible 1’s!  Little man has been so stroppy lately; pinching, smacking, biting, kicking, headbutting, throwing himself about and stiffening himself up in a tantrum. This is usually when he can’t get his own way. Take today at stay & play for example. He is usually as good as gold when we go. He started pretty much as soon as we got there today. A little girl was playing with a rattle tube and he wanted it, so tried to take it off her, I told him no …
