I am rather late with posting this update – over three weeks in fact – but better late than never, hey?! (I’m sure I’ve said that before…). So it seems N is on that precipice between baby and toddler, which I have named the boddler stage (well actually Sarah at Let Them Be Small suggested the term over on Twitter, and I’ve stolen it, I think it’s great!). He is becoming so much like his brother and I’m not sure who I have to watch more nowadays, N or J! He’s definitely developing his own mega cheeky little personality that I think …
Slimming World weigh in #13 – the first maintain…
I mentioned on my last weigh in that my head hadn’t been fully in the game hence my 0.5lb gain over Easter, but that I was going to try and get back in it. I was okay for a day up until our latest cake club meeting on the Wednesday, and then I just went slowly downhill from there to be honest. Especially at the end of the weekend when I started having a bit of emotional breakdown. When I’m at that stage I go one of two ways – I either eat lots of rubbish, or nothing at all, …

Family time – Movie & duvet days
As with any family, ‘family time’ is really important to us as hubby works long hours, six days a week. Most days, by the time he gets home from work it’s just about tea time and then he only has an hour or so with the boys before bed. This means we only have one day a week where we have him to ourselves, and even then he may have other plans (for example, car repairs anyone?…). So the days we do actually get him all to ourselves we want to have fun! As much as we love to go …
Kids Don’t Come With a Manual | Book review & giveaway (CLOSED)
When I was pregnant with J I never read any ‘parenting’ books – there were just so many on the market and it was a bit overwhelming. I’d had lots of advice from friends, and I knew I had lots to go to for advice once he had arrived. I’d heard of lots of parenting ‘experts’ and their books though and there were many differing opinions on all of them – I decided that we’d just go with the flow and we’d get it, somehow! When we came home from the hospital though I joked that I wish they’d sent us …
