Oh dear, I’ve really neglected you since Sunday… I’ve been ill with a horrible cold/cough/sore throat but that’s no excuse really, just been too tired to do much of anything as it’s been wearing me down… Anyway, have now passed the 34 week mark! We had our 34 week appointment on Tuesday where we went over my birth plan, I mean wishes/options, as we all know it probably won’t go to plan! I will cover that in my next post! 31 week midwife appointment
On Tuesday I had my routine 31 week appointment with the midwife. Was slightly worried at first as they were asking each other if my blood results were back! Luckily they were found in the end, they just hadn’t got them out, phew! Well my bloods were fine. My BP is also still fine, and no more bloods taken this time, I think that will be at the next one. 28 weeks and a routine appointment
Sorry I haven’t posted much in the last week or so, been mega busy with final Christmas preparations, mainly baking! I was wrapping presents on Sunday and seem to have hurt my lower back/bum, and it hurts when I bend over/go to sit down, I’m sure that’s just normal pregnancy pains though as it doesn’t seem to be there ALL the time, it’s more apparent to me when I’ve been quite active. 25 weeks and a midwife appointment
This weekend saw me reaching 25 weeks… 15 weeks to go, eek! It really is true when people say how fast it goes… I really haven’t much to report from the last week, except that I ‘kind of’ took Baby G on his first train journey. Routine midwife visit (update)
Yesterday was our 15/16 week routine midwife visit. Just went through the norms, my blood results from booking in came back fine for everything, then she took more blood for the Down’s screening, as the sonographer couldn’t get a measurement at our scan! I will get the results from that through the post. I told her about the bleeding I’d had, and that there’d been nothing since, so she was pleased about that. I mentioned about my headaches, she said I am safe to take 2 paracetemol, and if it doesn’t go after that then it is a “hormone headache”. …
