It’s the little man’s 1st birthday soon. I can’t believe this time last year we were making final preparations for his arrival, and now I’m making preparations for his birthday! Madness. We’re not having anything big, just a little party at home with close family & friends. We’re doing this on the Sunday before his birthday though (his birthday is on a Tuesday) to cater for people who have to work during the week – though hubby works Sundays too, but I will be making sure he books it off! The theme is ‘In The Night Garden’ – he loves …

Poorly little man
As well as lots of presents for Christmas, our little guy came away with not only two front teeth (finally!) but a horrible cough as well. It had been building up since Christmas, obviously with us going here, there & everywhere, he had caught germs, and it reached its worse on New Years Eve. He was constantly coughing and I just wished I could stop it, so horrible to see, so we dosed him up on Calpol. As well as his cough, first one of his bottom teeth started cutting through, then a few days later we noticed the other, …
The little man’s progress
So I realised I haven’t updated on the little man in ages! I admit I have been slacking with the blogging the last few months, though it was one of my resolutions to blog more, oops. Maybe I’ll make it again for next year and stick to it. As the last couple of weeks posts have been pretty sad, I thought I’d post something a little happier and lighter. In recent months he has learned so much. We started weaning him at about 5.5 months and soon enough he was feeding himself! He likes allsorts now, but his favourites are yoghurt and …
When?
When? Something I started to think about on Tuesday, only one day after my miscarriage. When to try again? Something that must cross the mind of every couple when they lose their precious baby. So, we weren’t actively trying for little bean and it was a bit of shock when we got our BFP as after our journey with little man, we were not in the slightest expecting to catch straight away. But once we had gotten over the shock we were so ecstatic and so looking forward to being parents of two. We were originally planning on waiting until …
Cold house
Not a cold house in the temperature aspect, but that we’re all full of cold! I think little man got it from somewhere as his nose was a bit runny yesterday so I gave him some Calpol, but it’s turned into a cough today too. My poor little man, though it doesn’t seem to be bothering him that much! I started to get a runny nose last night and had a little bit of a cough going on but was hoping it wouldn’t go much further, especially as the hubby & I were supposed to be going to a Labrinth …
