Recipe – Chocolate Baileys cheesecake (with a hidden surprise!)

Was anybody lucky enough to receive a bottle of a certain gorgeous Irish tipple from Santa? Well if not, then you may just want to buy some anyway for this delicious recipe. I actually made this for one of our bake club meetings earlier in the year, with the theme being ‘a surprise’. The surprise hidden inside this cheesecake is an absolutely perfect match to the Baileys Chocolat Luxe and it adds to the creaminess. I guarantee you will want to go back for seconds with this, although it is rather sweet & sickly, but then all great things are! Ingredients …

Giveaway – 1 of 20 Olive it! recipe books (CLOSED)

I haven’t always been a fan of olives. I still can’t eat them on their own, but I don’t mind if they are served with something else. I don’t eat them often either but after being introduced to the Olive It! recipe book then they might be a more regular inclusion in my food choices. There are some really delicious looking recipes inside that I would have never thought to try before, for example the red-hot tapenade manchego whirls (I was sold on cheese), olive and tuna pate, and olives with mango, melon and pomegranate (yummy). Christmas candy cane & cranberry brownies | Recipe

I don’t know about you, but I love a brownie. The way I like them – fresh out of the oven warm and gooey. I was right; these are amazingly gooey, minty and the cranberries give a sharp tang.

Cheese & bacon stuffed mushrooms | Recipe (Slimming World friendly)

Since I started my Slimming World journey, I have eaten a much larger variety of lunches. Previously it used to be just a sandwich as it was quick & easy and took less than a minute to throw together, but it did get a little boring every day and I soon realised how much bread and carbs I really did eat, which wasn’t so good with PCOS either. Recently I’ve found large flat mushrooms to be a really great alternative to bread, even being used as a pulled pork ‘burger’! These stuffed mushrooms are one of my favourite lunches now …

Review – Hotel Chocolat ‘The Everything Collection’ from the Christmas Collection

If there is one gift I always receive for Christmas, without fail, it is chocolate. Last year hubby bought me an awesomely huge peanut flavoured chocolate hamper; but due to starting with my new weight loss goals in January, I actually still have some left! That has definitely not been the case since discovering Hotel Chocolat though – why have I never had the pleasure of trying chocolate from here before? I can tell you though, it is my new favourite luxury chocolate brand. I was so excited to see an email land in my inbox asking if I wanted to …
