It was the boys’ birthday party at the weekend and after my post on alternatives to party bags, I wanted to give the attending children something they might not usually get. Don’t get me wrong, they did get party bags and the contents were all dinosaur related, but I wanted to make a little something that they could keep as a reminder of the party too, which is when I came up with these idea of these cute little salt dough dinosaur fossils!

With previously living in a bad area for the past few years, home security has always been very high on the agenda for us. At the top of that list was always making sure the doors were locked, even when we were home. We own a lot of expensive technology items and with living in a ground floor flat, there was easy visibility and access to our home so we had to make sure we were secure at all times – including closing the curtains when we left the home!

As an adult, I don’t really like to wear clothes that make me stand out too much, so I guess I dress my boys in them instead – I love to see colour on children, they are born for it! I’m always on the lookout for brightly coloured t-shirts for the boys to jazz up jeans or shorts, and I love a funky print too. So when Tiger Prints offered us a choice of t-shirt to review from their website, I was eager to find something that Jacob would love.
