Jumping for Matilda Mae #MMSkydive

A few months ago I blogged about The Lullaby Trust and the loss of Matilda Mae. Today 9 very brave and inspiring ladies have jumped out of a plane to skydive in her precious memory.  As I said in that post, nobody should ever have to lose a child to SIDS; I still just cannot imagine the heartbreak and emotional turmoil the family have to go through. Little man’s latest escapade

On Sunday we had another hospital visit with little man. Last time it was to the out of hours doctor for his chest infection; this time it was a proper A&E visit, his first one!  We were outside, I was hanging the washing out, and he was playing with a football. Outside our front it is full of grass, but out the back it is just paving slabs, and our washing line is out the back. Obviously I don’t like to leave him inside on his own, so he has to come out with me, which is much easier now …

The ‘Berry’ Pregnancy Diaries – week 7

Monday 8th July – 7w 1d Had the tiniest bit of spotting this morning – it was literally the size of a pin prick but obviously I went straight into worry/panic mode. I made an appointment with my fab nurse to see if I could either have a blood test or an early scan. I had a blood test to check hormone levels and she said she would ring me tomorrow afternoon with the results. Just have to try and relax a bit.
