Salt and pepper chips | Recipe (Slimming World friendly)

One of my favourite ever Chinese takeaway dishes is salt and pepper chips – I could eat a carton of them to myself and I often get cravings for them, and whenever we do go down the naughty route and actually have a takeaway, I always order these – they are just so good! With doing Slimming World I could have them but they would be a great almighty number of syns! I had a really bad craving for them one night but I wanted to stay on plan, so I thought I’d attempt my own salt and pepper chips; they were really …

Slimming World – weigh in #5

As you may have seen in my last weigh in update, I finally got my half stone award after four weigh ins. I was absolutely ecstatic as I think over the many years and attempts of trying to lose weight, that is the best I have ever done. Slimming World – half a stone gone!

If you saw my last SW weigh in update you will know that I didn’t quite manage to get my half stone award even though I’d been hankering after it all week – although happy at 1.5lb loss I was a bit annoyed at myself as I was only half a pound away! Little man N at 11 months old

So this is the last of N’s updates before he turns one year old. That’s right, at the next update I will have written a whole year of updates for my youngest baby. Who will no longer be a baby. (Sad face. Though don’t take that as a hint at any more babies – no thanks!). As I mentioned in his ten month update he was due to be weighed at his ‘routine health check’ which I wrote about here along with a rant about the health visitor. He weighed 24lb 8oz meaning he had only gained 7oz since his last weigh in, …

Recipe – Reese’s peanut butter cupcakes

Last year (and maybe the year before actually) a friend & I decided that we were going to start a cake club – even if it was only the two of us, ha! Our first meeting was last week and the theme was an easy one – cupcakes. I always have to go that extra mile and as I still had some of my Reese’s hamper left from Christmas (I know, I’m not sure how either) I decided to take these. I have no words to describe them – they might just be the finest cupcake I have ever tasted …
