Meccano – such a classic toy, isn’t it? It’s been around for so many years and is constantly evolving. I’ve never had any myself; it’s not really something I’ve ever been into, if I’m honest. Now when I say wicked, I don’t mean wicked as in evil wicked; I mean wicked as in awesome wicked. Which is exactly what Wicked Uncle are. Especially for last minute Christmas shopping! I’m almost done with mine, but I do have a few little bits still to get this week. I am not usually as unorganised as this – I’m normally all done with wrapping by now! Luckily the boys still have another four days at school, so hopefully I’ll manage to get some done then.
I like doing crafts on my own as I can control how much mess I make – and because I’ve made it, I don’t mind it quite as much. But when they boys mention the word “crafts” or “paint” I die a little inside. To be honest, I’d rather they just kept that part at school so I don’t have to clear up the aftermath! Or end up doing it for them… And then I met Little Brian paint sticks. My. Life. Has. Changed.
