Little man J at 2 years old

Well I can’t believe the original little man is now 2 years old. I haven’t updated about his progress as regularly as I should have, but it is my mission for the year for now, for both of them! Since my last update nearly 6 months ago, he has come on so much in lots of areas.  He has so many new words (lots of them with thanks to Peppa Pig!). I’m not going to list them this time as there are way too many to keep up with nowadays; he’s saying at least one new word every 2 or 3 days. There …

Our breastfeeding journey

Though it may seem trivial to some, this for me is a really hard post to write due to my previous breastfeeding guilt with J.  Breastfeeding is something I really wanted to achieve this time. Foodie Penpals – March reveal

This month my Foodie Penpals parcel came from the lovely Marjan all the way over in The Netherlands! I’ve also never tried any regional foods from there! First up were these cheese biscuits – quite like ones we get …

Home birth, but hospital stay – part 3

You can read part 2 here.  Monday 3rd March I was hoping that we would be allowed to go home today, but as little man #2 still wasn’t feeding directly from me, that was a no go. At this point I once again considered just totally switching to formula so we could go home. But then I remembered how bad it made me feel last time so I got my determined head on and tried to be positive. We could do this.  Hubby came back to hospital, bringing little man #1 with him. As LM#1 has a short attention span, I …

Project 365 – Week 12 (days 75 – 81)

Project 365 – Week 12 (days 75 – 81) March 16th / Day 75 Today was the first race of the 2014 Formula One season, so here is Daddy introducing little man #2. March 17th / Day 76 Two weeks in and still breastfeeding (that’s two weeks longer than last time around, so I’m happy!) – little man #2 drunk on boobie! March 18th / Day 77 Little man #1’s birthday is tomorrow, and he loves balloons – we also filled a big box with them for him to discover! March 19th / Day 78 Little man #1 was at …
