Recipe – Cinnamon sugar stamped biscuits (#GreatBloggersBakeOff2014)

I first made these biscuits when I was trying to find something cinnamon to go in one of my foodie penpals parcels. They are totally coated in cinnamon sugar yet it isn’t too overpowering – they are very moreish! Ingredients (makes approx. 30) Biscuits 200 g butter 200 g caster sugar 1 tsp vanilla (optional) 1 egg 425 g plain flour Cinnamon sugar  (You will find that this makes more than you need but you can save it for future. You can also add more/less sugar/cinnamon to your taste) 1 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup ground cinnamon Method Preheat oven …

A to Z of Family – I is for Independence

Independence is something which every child will gain as they are growing. They obviously start to gain it in stages at a few months old – sitting, rolling, crawling, walking, feeding themselves. At 2 years old, little man J has gained so much independence, so quickly, recently. ElevEase Shower Step | Review

During my pregnancy with N, I suffered with backache right from the beginning and it was pretty awful towards the end. Having PCOS means when I defuzz, my hair grows back really quickly and if I want to wear a dress or shorts in the summer months then I have …

Before Potty Training Live! I hadn’t heard of the potty training pads, but after reading up on them I thought they sounded like a great idea for if you really want to get stuck in with potty training and get it done with quickly. The basis behind Dry Like Me potty training pads is that they …

Weight loss – week 1

Last week was the beginning of my new weight loss journey. I have been trying my hardest to log my calories on MyFitnessPal but some days I forget to add the last few things or close my diary, but I have been as strict as possible. I didn’t do much exercise, I only really walked a worthy distance a couple of days last week, but that’s either pushing both boys or wearing one and pushing the other and between them they weigh 50 lbs+ (which is the amount of weight I happened to lose pre-babies – thinking of it now, wow!). I …
