Are there any Harry Potter fans in the house? There certainly are in this one – Hufflepuff here, by the way! I finally turned Jacob over to the dark side last year and he now has a Harry Potter themed bedroom and has had a Harry Potter themed birthday, so I call that a win! Now only the other two members of the family to go…
There will be quite a few Potter themed gifts in our house this year, so I thought I’d put together this guide of ideas for the Harry Potter fans you’re buying for this Christmas. Accio!

These notebooks are great for scribbling down to do lists, spells and more. The spiral bound notebooks are A5 size, with thick lined paper and a hard bound cover, coming in a variety of designs. They also have an elasticated closure which can be used as a page marker. Perfect for putting in a stationery hamper!
£1, available from Poundland
This sticker book with 10 sheets and over 800 stickers would make a lovely stocking filler for the little Harry Potter fan in your life – we all know how much they like decorating things with stickers! They would also be great for a stationery hamper along with the notebooks.
Dobby mug & socks set
This mug & socks set is a great idea for fans of everybody’s favourite house elf! Enjoy a cuppa with Dobby in the mug that features a printed picture of the house elf and the words “Free Dobby”. The cotton socks (a size UK men’s 7-11) feature the phrase “Dobby has no master. Dobby is a free elf”.
“Trouble” water bottle
This stylish stainless steel water bottle is the perfect size for little ones, or even grown ups to carry around in a bag. The screw cap lid is spill and leak proof so belongings will be safe! It’s printed with the famous quote from the Prisoner of Azkaban – “I don’t go looking for trouble, trouble usually finds me”.
This levitating mug is perfect for settling down with a (witches) brew after a long day at Hogwarts. Its clever design makes it look like it’s floating, and features the famous levitation spell, “Wingardium leviosa”.
£12, available from Book Besties on Etsy
These book sleeves are like little sleeping bags for books, or even your e-reader device. They all come padded and with Book Besties signature polka dot lining, and you can even request a button to be added for closure. There are two sizes available for books – hardback and paperback – and there are so many wonderful Harry Potter related designs in the store!
£10.99, available from The Gift Experience
These slippers with the Hogwarts crest badge woven onto the front, Gryffindor colours along the edge, and Harry Potter embroidered on the inside come in adult size 5-7. They have anti-slip soles and are super squishy for comfort!
“Witch in training” leggings
£33, available from Lucy Locket Loves
These leggings are not official Harry Potter merchandise but I own some and they go wonderfully with Harry Potter tops! These particular style are activewear so they would be perfect for playing Quidditch. They come in sizes 6-22, and in two lengths (full and capri). There’s even a pocket for Gringotts coins on the back!
Hogwarts Christmas & Dobby socks
£2.50, available from Primark
These shoe liners from Primark are on my list year round, never mind just at Christmas! There are a variety of designs, but these Hogwarts Christmas ones are perfect for a stocking filler. The cartoon Dobby ones are especially cute and great for Dobby fans!
