Wednesday 28th August – 14w I had my second 12 week scan today – obviously at 14 weeks though! As usual I was nervous, but I got in there and the heartbeat was there, everything was fine. Phew. Baby was measuring spot on. We opted for the NT test again, baby just would not cooperate. They were very bouncy and waving though! Where’s baby?
When we were lucky enough to fall pregnant again, I had decided that I wanted little man to know he was going to be a big brother from as early on as possible. Since we discovered I was pregnant, I’ve been telling him that he’s going to be a big brother; I know he probably won’t quite understand this concept yet, but he has been around newborn/young babies, so I’m hoping he’s going to be gentle when berry arrives. Wednesday 21st August – 13w Hello second trimester! I never thought I’d get this far after my last pregnancy, so I’m feeling a bit of relief now, and can start to relax a bit more. Started baking for my fundraiser today and it has tired me out so much! Wednesday 14th August – 12w Noticed my belly has started to pop out a little – it’s actually looking more like bump than just fat now! I had a phone call from the midwife telling me I have a prescription to collect tomorrow for iron tablets – this is why I’ve been feeling so sleepy and tired. Hopefully I’ll start feeling a little better once I take these. Going to try some Spatone too as a few people have recommended it to me.
