Wednesday 18th September – 17w Even though little man wasn’t here this morning, I still woke before 7am and couldn’t get back to sleep! I was planning a relaxed morning but by 8.10am I’d managed to take the rubbish out, was the dishes, put a laundry load on, and hoover right through! Wednesday 14th August – 12w Noticed my belly has started to pop out a little – it’s actually looking more like bump than just fat now! I had a phone call from the midwife telling me I have a prescription to collect tomorrow for iron tablets – this is why I’ve been feeling so sleepy and tired. Hopefully I’ll start feeling a little better once I take these. Going to try some Spatone too as a few people have recommended it to me. 38 weeks and a midwife appointment
Well, I obviously got to 38 weeks as I’m here with my weekly update! I’ve had more head butting incidents from him since my last update, though not as strong, just little ones the last few times. I can definitely feel him making himself comfy down there ready for his grand appearance, I can tell you that… Which brings me onto our routine midwife appointment (there was also a student midwife there this time so we got second opinions on everything). Normal tests were done, urine sample – fine, blood pressure – fine, little mans heartbeat – fine. He’s also still head …
32 weeks (and a bump pic)
Sunday was the 32 week mark for me, my goodness how it’s flying in! 8 weeks (supposedly…) to go. We got our cotbed over the weekend which BIL very kindly bought for us from a friend, it’s a discontinued one, but it’s the Dorchester by Cosatto, and we very much love it. Husband assembled it yesterday and then we had a few moments just standing looking at it, and yes, I cried! Just imagining our little boy in there in a few months made me quite emotional.
