March was busy with both boys’ birthdays, so I only managed two physical books. One of these was an easy nonfiction read, so that helped! The other four were audiobooks; three of them I borrowed from Libby or Borrowbox, and the other one was in my Audible library.

February was a good reading month for me, with eight books total! I read 667 pages and listened to 55.8 hours. 88% of my reading was fiction, with 12% non-fiction, 63% audio and 38% print – no Kindle reading this month! (As a side note, I get these stats from an app called Storygraph, which will be featured in a future blog post.)

Welcome to my new blog series for 2024! Many of my friends know I’m a huge book lover and much of my spare time is spent reading or listening to audiobooks. I thought January was a good time to start sharing a round-up of my monthly reads! I recently discovered a new star rating system – CAWPILE – that I’ve found really helpful. I’ve always struggled rating books but this makes it so much easier. It’s been interesting to see how they differ from what I would have given them before this, too!
