Doing the Bacofoil Baco-Shake!

How many times have you roasted vegetables in the oven and they’ve stuck to the tray? Cooked chips and you lose half of most of them because they’ve stuck down? Baked fish fingers and the coating gets left behind when you try to remove them? I often have this problem and it’s a little bit annoying because I love my food, so obviously I want every single last morsel off that tray! Not to mention the fact that those bits that stick, are hard to remove when washing too and you need to give the tray a good scrub! Well, …

Totally tropical coconut smoothie | Recipe

In one of my recent Degustabox parcels, I received a carton of coconut milk alternative to milk. I don’t normally buy this, so other than using it in coffee, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it. As the boys are a fan of smoothies, it gave me an idea. I really enjoyed joining in though as it’s lovely to look back on what I sometimes feel has been a bad month, and see that we did have good times; so I’ve decided to carry on with monthly posts, in pretty much the same format, but just a slightly different title! Anyway, March is always a busy month for us with Noah’s birthday at the beginning, and Jacob’s …

Tree change for the elderly

Today, more and more baby boomers are opting for a tree change. If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know what a tree change refers to then here’s some useful info for you. Popular among elderly Australians, tree change is a term that describes the shift from an urban life to living in a more country/rural setting. Generally, people who opt for tree change sell off everything they own in the city before going to live in the bush. However, contrary to popular belief, tree change doesn’t mean moving to the middle of nowhere. Instead, it means living …
