Source I’ve written previously about my love of Scottish Highland cottage holidays; pre-children, we visited just about every year from 2007 onward, but we’ve only visited once since J was born, and that’s when he was six months old, so not really too active. Stockeld Park – The Summer Adventure | Review

I’ve mentioned a couple of times previously that we rarely plan days out as we never know when hubby’s day off will be, so any time we get the chance to do something fun, I’m very eager. We were recently invited to Stockeld Park for the VIP preview of their Summer Adventure opening, and I couldn’t wait to take my boys! After watching the preview video on their website, I was so excited.

We’re all going on a… rainy holiday?!

Today we’re going away on our annual family getaway. Nowhere exotic, just Anglesey in Wales! Though I am rather looking forward to it after what we’ve been through this year. It will be bittersweet though as my mother in law was supposed to be joining us; though she will of course be in our thoughts. We’re staying in a lovely little cottage in Holyhead. Chasewater Railway | Review

On Saturday we had a family day out, travelling to Chasewater Railway for a friends 40th birthday party.
