Chocolate orange cake squares | Recipe (Slimming World friendly)

Now don’t get me wrong, even though I’m following Slimming World I do still eat ‘proper’ cake. Sometimes I will begrudgingly syn it but other times I will just completely ignore it and hope for the best! This is one of my new favourite Slimming World recipes though, it tastes a lot like a chocolate orange and is definitely worth the 2.5 syns a piece. Slimming World weigh in #17 – the one with *another* award…

Last week after 16 weigh ins, I finally managed to get my Club 10 award after chasing it for weeks! I also wanted my 1.5st award last week but I was one pound away from that so that’s what I was aiming for this week. I had an okay week to start with which slowly went downhill at the weekend as we had a takeaway, but come Monday I had my head back in the game as I wanted that number on the scales, so I was right back on it!

I’m a great cheese lover and before I joined Slimming World I would just cut blocks off and eat it like that – naughty! I do still enjoy it now regularly as my Healthy Extra A choice, but I don’t eat as much as I did before. When you’re not counting the calories in it, it can easily add up without you realising.
