Weight loss – week 4
I’ll start with my weigh in from last week. I lost half a pound. Not great, but better off than on. Sticking to my plan hasn’t gone so well this week, in fact over the weekend it was a total write off. On Saturday we went to Birmingham Zoo with friends, and had a picnic, and then a pizza for tea, and then on Sunday we were at a Christening with a BBQ for afters! Never mind the terrible 2’s. I think in this household it’s officially the terrible 1’s! Little man has been so stroppy lately; pinching, smacking, biting, kicking, headbutting, throwing himself about and stiffening himself up in a tantrum. This is usually when he can’t get his own way. Review – Day out: Birmingham Nature Centre
On Saturday we visited Birmingham Nature Centre (previously known as Birmingham Zoo). The Centre houses a wide assortment of animals from around the world including lemurs, meerkats, porcupines, goats, spiders, snakes, cranes, and many many more! We visited along with a few of my online friends and their families as part of a ‘big meet’ of the forum we use. The Centre is very easy to find, directly off the main road with signposts and the entrance located on the main road too.
