Newquay is on the Atlantic Coast in Cornwall and is one of the country’s top surfing destinations. The main beach is called Fistral beach, however some (like me!) prefer the quieter beaches, for example Porthtowan which is in the town, or Watergate Bay which is a little further afield but still just as idyllic. We’re all going on a… rainy holiday?!
Today we’re going away on our annual family getaway. Nowhere exotic, just Anglesey in Wales! Though I am rather looking forward to it after what we’ve been through this year. It will be bittersweet though as my mother in law was supposed to be joining us; though she will of course be in our thoughts. We’re staying in a lovely little cottage in Holyhead. As much as we would love to go abroad, we can never afford it. But, we have come to enjoy our UK holidays very much and will probably continue for years to come. I think a …
