So it’s official. No more babies for us. I’ve taken the steps for it to be so, as the temptation would otherwise be there. Not long after N arrived, I started selling off my maternity clothes on a well known auction site. They have practically all gone now. I’ve started sorting out J’s old clothes into what to keep for N, and any that N outgrows are being sorted for what to sell or give away and what to keep for a memory quilt in the future. As N outgrows the baby items (such as the swing) they are being …

Recipe – Sizzling fajitas
One of our favourite cuisines and dishes in our house is Mexican fajitas. Most of the time we use chicken but on the odd occasion I will make steak fajitas for a nice change. Ingredients (makes enough for 4-5 wraps) 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips 1 large onion, sliced 2 medium/large peppers, sliced 1 tbsp oil (though using the Ozeri Stone Earth pan like I do you need less than 1 tsp) 2 tsp chilli powder (I use mild when J is eating them, hot when he’s not – I love the spice!) 1 tsp paprika (can use smoked if you …
Foodie Penpals – May reveal
Once again my foodie parcel was a bit lot late – it was worth waiting for though if only for the chocolate! I had a few items from overseas this time as my penpal Kelly was going abroad on holiday before sending my parcel, so I was looking forward to receiving things I may not necessarily have had before. In there was a mixture of sweet & savoury items. First up the yummy sweet treats: a bar of 72% dark chocolate with almonds. I usually eat milk chocolate so this was a lovely change. Sickly because it is so strong, but …
A to Z of Family – B is for Boys
Though ‘Boys’ is my main subject of this weeks A to Z of Family post for the letter B, I can list other ‘B’s’ combined with it that I have experienced with my boys – though mainly J as N doesn’t do an awful lot yet! Bogies Yes you read that right. Very recently J has started to pick his nose and then wipe it wherever he fancies. Including furniture and other people. Usually me. Just disgusting. Is this just a boy thing or a toddler thing in general? Boisterousness J has been boisterous for as long as I can remember. …
Little man N at 3 months old
I can’t believe N is 3 months old already. That’s a quarter of a year! No, I refuse to believe it. Time must slow down now! N is gaining weight steadily now and heading along the 75th centile – he was on the 25th when he was born! When he turned 3 months he was around the 15 lb mark, so he has more than doubled his birth weight and is a proper chunk now, just like his brother was! He’s in his his brothers 3-6 months clothes now and even some of those are getting small for him! He obviously loves …
