Once again I forgot to post my last weigh in update, and that was the one I really wanted to post! After my last update I was still back on it, writing everything down, even if I went over my syns. And I think most of us do regularly at some point, but I know I can usually pull it back if I’m in the right place. I was really determined to get that 3 stone so I was meal planning too and eating lots of speed food, and it seemed to work. I wasn’t in group last week though as I was …

Citrussy winter warmer drinks with Robinsons
I don’t know about you, but I find that in the winter I tend to drink a lot less water because I don’t feel as thirsty due to it being so cold, brr! Well, unless you count multiple cups of coffee…but then, caffeine isn’t all that great for you either. We should still drink lots of water through the winter though as although it is not in the slightest bit warm (here in the UK anyway!), we can actually still become very dehydrated if we don’t keep our fluids topped up. Cordial is a really great way to do this, …
Recipe – Victoria sponge cupcakes

Living the country life | Feeding, watching, and discovering birds
As we used to live in a flat with only a small courtyard, we didn’t really get any wildlife but the boys used to love helping to feed the birds when they visited Nanna. When we moved, we promised Jacob that we would buy him a bird feeding station and then feeding the birds could be a regular job for him. Of course, we followed up on our promise and we bought a multi bird feeder which was ready for him one day when he came home from nursery. Our usual supply of food for the birds consists of seeds, …
A magical Christmas with the Portable North Pole
Since I discovered the Portable North Pole a few years ago, Jacob has had a message from Santa every year without fail. Last year though was the first year that he really understood about Father Christmas and he was absolutely mesmerised while watching his personalised video. Both boys loved their videos this year, even Noah was excited at watching his, and J wanted to watch his again & again! It is such a lovely idea on the countdown to Christmas, especially if children don’t manage to visit him in person. This year the PNP is back – bigger & better …
