Now Noah has stopped having a bottle at bed time, we have given up bottles completely and the last one has recently been thrown away – it feels like the end of an era! We always used basic baby bottles with both boys but I wish the Twistshake brand had been around when we were bottle feeding as it would have made it a much more fun experience! I love the colours which are great for older babies and sensory processing. The great features of Twistshake baby bottles include BPA-free polypropelene plastic anti-colic nipple super-mixer that resolves any lumps in the formula …
A magical Christmas with the Portable North Pole
Since I discovered the Portable North Pole a few years ago, Jacob has had a message from Santa every year without fail. Last year though was the first year that he really understood about Father Christmas and he was absolutely mesmerised while watching his personalised video. Both boys loved their videos this year, even Noah was excited at watching his, and J wanted to watch his again & again! It is such a lovely idea on the countdown to Christmas, especially if children don’t manage to visit him in person. This year the PNP is back – bigger & better …
Christmas candy cane & cranberry brownies | Recipe
I don’t know about you, but I love a brownie. The way I like them – fresh out of the oven warm and gooey. I was a bit last minute with it then, but this time I have compiled a list of activities which I have put inside so we will have some Christmas fun-filled days in the lead up to the big day – some of them may even involve Buddy the Elf again 😉 I’ve been scouring the web for activities and here are the ones I …
Cheese & bacon stuffed mushrooms | Recipe (Slimming World friendly)
Since I started my Slimming World journey, I have eaten a much larger variety of lunches. Previously it used to be just a sandwich as it was quick & easy and took less than a minute to throw together, but it did get a little boring every day and I soon realised how much bread and carbs I really did eat, which wasn’t so good with PCOS either. Recently I’ve found large flat mushrooms to be a really great alternative to bread, even being used as a pulled pork ‘burger’! These stuffed mushrooms are one of my favourite lunches now …
