I’m Stacey, a bookworm (or should that be dragon?!) from a quaint hamlet on the outskirts of Lincolnshire. In my late 30s, I’m a devoted mum to two wonderful boys who are both autistic—a unique aspect that makes them different, not less. Our July favourites | The foodie edition!

A photo of a beach with people in the far distance. The text on the photo says Our July Favourites

Welcome to our July favourites – the foodie edition! July meant the beginning of the summer holidays for the boys, so we’ve been trying to have lots of fun! We’ve had a few days out, dog walks, but one thing we haven’t been doing is playing outside a lot. What is the weather all about this summer?! It’s bloody miserable, I think we’ve had rain on more days than not. We haven’t even had the paddling pool out yet, or the bouncy castle. Hopefully, sometime before we go on holiday, we’ll be able to.

Trunki Toddlepak Backpack | Review & Giveaway (CLOSED)

Summer; the time for lots of family trips with the kids, and making sure your bag is well stocked to keep everyone going throughout the day. Of course, the boys always want to take their own bags for their drinks and any toys that may just fancy a trip too… Also, the time for getting ready to go back to school. Uniforms, shoes, and of course a backpack for their bits & bobs. Come September, Noah will be going to preschool for fifteen hours; including a full day on a Friday so he’ll need to be well stocked then with …

My festival bucket list

When it comes to the summer season, there are so many festivals happening. Music festivals, food festivals, art festivals; or festivals that have everything going on! A food festival is my idea of heaven, especially when there are dozens of samples waiting to be tasted! As you may have seen, I love discovering new brands and trying new foods. I could manage to spend a whole load …

Winding down with Premier Estates wine | Review

I never really used to be a wine drinker; always more of a cider or lager girl. That was, until the boys came along and I started to enjoy a glass of wine or two, to wind down in the evening. My go to choice would be a sweet rosé or a white, but I’ve become more accustomed to a glass of red nowadays. I do find it lasts longer, which is a good thing with me, as I’m a bit of a lightweight when it comes to wine. Ahem. Anyway, the lovely people at Premier Estates Wine sent me a few …

The Psychology of Colour

The Psychology of Colour | Interiors

When we moved into our house almost two years ago now, there was a lot of redecorating that needed to be done. In fact, almost every room in the house needed at least a lick of paint. I like to have a colour theme to the rooms in my house, but I don’t necessarily think about the colour first. When I find an accessory or some wallpaper that I really love for a feature wall, I will work around that. The feature colour of our bedroom is purple, Noah’s room is a neutral grey, Jacob’s is blue. Our bathroom did have …
