Down’s syndrome screening tests
Just before we went on holiday we received a letter with the results of our Down’s syndrome screening test – 1:15,000 – meaning we don’t need to have any further tests! This is obviously good news for us (not that we wouldn’t love our baby just as much if he/she was born with Down’s…), but for some parents it may not be such good news, or hard to deal with. Sickness in pregnancy
There was a comment I came across the other day on that ol’ place called Facebook. There were 2 or 3 people discussing sickness in pregnancy, and I saw something that quite riled me if I’m honest. This comment basically said that pregnancies in which the woman had/has sickness, all was well, and went well, whereas pregnancies where the woman felt/feels fine, things didn’t/don’t go so well in. Sorry I have neglected you all since last Saturday, was rather busy all weekend as we went on holiday on Monday, and didn’t get back until Friday!
