I’m Stacey, a bookworm (or should that be dragon?!) from a quaint hamlet on the outskirts of Lincolnshire. Broody & depressed

Lately I’m finding controlling my broodiness really hard. What with One Born Every Minute, seeing cute younger babies photos on facebook, and having just finally caught up on 16 Kids & Counting, it’s going up a notch every few days!  I think the fact that I should have been halfway there with my pregnancy too (I would have been 20 weeks today), I’m finding the feeling of being broody really hard. #foodiepenpals – January reveal

This month I was paired with Anne over at Random Things Through My Letterbox. 1st birthday planning

It’s the little man’s 1st birthday soon. I can’t believe this time last year we were making final preparations for his arrival, and now I’m making preparations for his birthday! Madness. We’re not having anything big, just a little party at home with close family & friends. We’re doing this on the Sunday before his birthday though (his birthday is on a Tuesday) to cater for people who have to work during the week  – though hubby works Sundays too, but I will be making sure he books it off! The theme is ‘In The Night Garden’ – he loves …

After my miscarriage I bled for a week and a half. This was expected, and I was glad when it finally stopped, as it was just a constant reminder of what I had lost. Of course I then had to wait for the arrival of my next AF, which the sonographer and nurse told me it could be in the next 4-6 weeks from mc. So I was surprised when on Xmas Eve I started spotting again (thanks Santa!). I thought it was the arrival of AF pending, but nope…  I’ve been waiting day after day for a ‘proper’ bleed indicating …
