Christmas gift ideas for book lovers

Even if you’re not a bookworm yourself, you must know someone who is, right? Whether it’s a physical book, an ebook, or an audiobook, I always have something on the go. So I have a few book related items on my own (small) Christmas list this year. If you’re still looking for ideas for yourself or hunting for someone else, hopefully you’ll find something to suit from the items for book lovers I’ve put together below!

Books

Christmas books

From £2, available from Amazon or The Works

Christmas books

What would a Christmas gift guide for book lovers be, without books themselves?! There are so many Christmas books on the market that you will be spoiled for choice. Perfect for a secret Santa gift, thank you presents, or a stocking filler. This is just a small selection, but I can recommend Carole Matthews or Sarah Morgan if you’re not sure what to buy!

The Christmas Muddle personalised book

£22.99, available from Elf for Christmas

The Christmas Muddle

If you’re a family with a Christmas elf, then this personalised book with gorgeous illustrations would make a wonderful children’s gift. The book can be personalised with up to five children’s names, plus up to two elves names. Other personalisation such as where they live and what they would like for Christmas can be added, as well as five more friends or family names for Santa’s nice list. The little one’s names will be written in the stars as Santa flies through the sky on Christmas Eve!

Practical

Book besties

£12, available from Book Besties on Etsy

Book besties

These book sleeves are like little sleeping bags for books, or even your e-reader device. They all come padded and with Book Besties signature polka dot lining, and you can even request a button to be added for closure. There are two sizes available for books – hardback and paperback – and there are so many wonderful designs in the store. You’re quite likely to find a particular fandom in there too!

Beanie tabs device holder

from £7.99, available from Jayne’s Beanie Tabs on Etsy

Beanie tabs

These mini bean bags are brilliant for holding devices whilst reading. Meaning they’re perfect for falling asleep bedtime reading moments and not dropping your Kindle on your face! They come in a large variety of fabric designs and three different sizes to hold devices, from mobile phones to laptops. Again, you’re pretty likely to find a particular fandom in the store!

Bookmarks

£1 each, available from The Works in store

Bookmarks

A bookworm can never have too many bookmarks – they make a great inexpensive stocking filler. These ones from The Works come in a variety of designs and 20% from the sale of each bookmark goes to Cancer Research UK, so you’re doing your bit for charity too by purchasing as a gift.

Clothing

Book nerd t-shirt

£8.95, available from eBay

Book nerd tshirt

There’s lots of book-related apparel out there but this “book nerd” t-shirt makes a quirky gift for any book lover. It comes in a variety of colours from black, to red, to pink, to turquoise. The glasses print as part of the word “book” certainly makes a statement.
