Oh dear, I’ve really neglected you since Sunday… I’ve been ill with a horrible cold/cough/sore throat but that’s no excuse really, just been too tired to do much of anything as it’s been wearing me down… Anyway, have now passed the 34 week mark! We had our 34 week appointment on Tuesday where we went over my birth plan, I mean wishes/options, as we all know it probably won’t go to plan! I will cover that in my next post! As for the other stuff, my sample was fine, blood pressure was fine, and bump was measuring right on ‘target’ this week. Good strong …

90 words for Breakthrough Breast Cancer
Kate On Thin Ice is looking for 90 bloggers to write 90 words about an important woman in their life and join in her blog hop. You can link up here. My mother in law. One of the most inspirational women in my life. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, the year before our wedding. She is now in remission but has to have check ups every now & then. A true fighter. A fighter who …
Showering a baby with cakes
No, I’m not actually going to be showering my baby with cakes, just thought I would try and get your attention! (Although I’m sure he would smell very yummy afterwards! Teehee!) What I actually mean is, I’m currently planning my baby shower, just two weeks to go now and I’m very excited! Fun games are planned, with prizes for the winners; nibbles and cake will also be involved! A perfect girly night in – chit chat, cake and babies! And that’s where the cake part comes in… I’m going to be making & selling cakes for the Cake A Difference charity event …

Yesterday I was continuing with packing my hospital bag, which made it seem all the more real too… We have his coming home outfit, apart from his hat which mother-in-law is just finishing off knitting, I will post a photo when it’s done, going to be a cracker! Last night …
The Circle Of Life
As I mentioned in one of my previous blog posts from earlier this month, my Nan died a couple of days after Christmas. It was an absolutely heartbreaking time for the whole family, but she is now out of pain, and happy I hope, happier than she has been in a long time. Of course I was extremely upset and it was, still is, painful, and I still can’t believe she’s gone. But, I said to myself, and to my husband, it’s just the circle of life – she was obviously making room for our little man (and my cousin’s, …
