I am very happy that I can finally make my birth announcement! Little man was born at 3.35am on the 19th March 2012, weighing 7lb 8.5oz. First photo I will post my birth story soon!

Another unscheduled hospital visit
**Slight TMI alert** On Wednesday we made another unscheduled visit to the hospital. This time to the antenatal day unit for assessment, after me being a worrying mummy-to-be again, and the little monkey playing games again. Number one, because little man hadn’t been moving much (again!), and number two, because on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning I had had some greenish discharge (yuk!). Things not to say or do to an overdue pregnant woman
Now, I was pointed to a few words last week by a friend when I wasn’t quite overdue, but nearly. I was hoping it wouldn’t be the case that I would be, but hey, it happened! 40 weeks and a midwife appointment
I haven’t updated over the last week, been too busy trying to get this little man out! Well it obviously didn’t work, as I made it to my due date! We had our 40 week appointment yesterday, which I thought was a little odd being on a Sunday, but there was a midwife there, just the one! Maybe they only see you on a Sunday if it’s your due date… Anyway, everything seemed fine, except for a protein trace in my sample. 39 weeks
I made it to 39 weeks. To be honest, I thought I would, as I was only 1/5 engaged at my 38 week appointment (I was a little confused to be honest, as both the midwife and student said 4/5 engaged when they were having a feel, but in my notes it said 4/5p.!). Anyway, I was still 1/5 engaged on Wednesday when I went to the hospital, but that was only 2 days apart so not too bothered about that.
