Last week I was a little disappointed with my weigh in to begin with as I really wanted to reach my target, but it wasn’t to be. I knew I had a couple of “bad” food days coming up, but I just prepared for that beforehand, and worked to balance it afterwards. I kept my syns low most days, then I decided I would go for an SP day on Monday and Tuesday, before weigh in. (I did do that at the last minute because I had porridge for breakfast, then decided I wanted toast. I’d only had speedy fruit too so just went for it!).
I had a feeling I wouldn’t be able to lose that 2.5lb this week – I could hope for a maintain at least! – so I had an epiphany. I decided – I may not be at target for my 30th birthday, but after my NSV last week, I should be over the moon that I was six dress sizes than I was at my heaviest. It’s quite humbling actually, knowing that I have managed to do that, all by myself. Of course, I had support, but I have been the one controlling what goes into my mouth.
Anyway, before I get to weigh in, here are some meals – it seems I’ve been good at posting this week!
Although I was prepared to take what I was given at weigh in this week, I was still nervous as I didn’t really want to gain too much, to have to lose it all again. When I stepped on the scales to see a maintain I was pleasantly surprised! Cutting back on syns and SP days must have worked 🙂
