After my small loss at last week’s weigh in and not quite reaching that next stone bracket yet again, I went away from group with my determined head on because I really wanted to break into it this week. I had my meals planned, we had no other plans elsewhere, and we didn’t have any impromptu meals out which could have steered me off track. I didn’t even go slightly over my syns this week, on any day! I can’t remember the last time that happened, to be honest…
Even at the weekend, my brother in law brought donuts and I resisted! I may have licked the chocolate topping from the knife that was used to cut the boys’ donuts in half, but I actually synned it too – yes, that determined!

Tried a #synfree #cauliflowerpizza base for #dinner tonight. I think I did something wrong as it didn't really crisp up, just stayed soft. Tasted nice though! Also only ate half the base as it was filling, finished the top though 👍 Topping was passata (s) dried basil (f) cheese (HEA) courgette (s) pepper (s) onion (s) mushroom (s) chilli flakes (f)
After my good week, I went to weigh in feeling pretty confident for a loss. So when I stepped on the scales and it showed a maintain I was a bit gutted in all honesty. Some weeks, I go off plan and lose, and when I try hard, I either maintain or gain which is a bit disheartening. It hasn’t made me want to eat in sorrow for myself though, if anything it has made me yet more determined for next week.
I’m not totally sure how that is going to go though as I am having a fundraiser for Macmillan Summer Lights on Saturday and doing an afternoon tea theme, so lots of nice treats that I am not sure I will be able to resist! I will be on it the rest of the time though, so we will see, I guess.
