I mentioned in my last weigh in update that we were going on holiday last week so there wouldn’t be one, but we’re back now and I’ve been for my post holiday weigh in! The time between weigh in and us going away, I
may have let myself slip a little – a bit of cake here, a few crisps there – and didn’t log the syns, naughty.
I didn’t log anything on holiday though as I had already decided I was just going to enjoy myself and do EESP until weigh in, when I got back. I did weigh myself when I got home though and my scales showed I had gained 5 or 6 lbs, eek! To be honest though, after the amount of non Slimming World friendly food that I ate, I did expect it to be much more!
I managed to stick to the EESP plan for almost 4 days and I actually quite enjoyed it, considering I always miss my pasta, potatoes, and yogurts when I do it! On the other hand though, I like that I get an extra HEB choice, so swings and roundabouts really.

Weigh in day isn't until Tues but my scales show I gained 5 or 6 lbs on holiday, so today is the first day back on it! Attempting #EESP until weigh in to at least try for damage limitation! Fruit & fibre (part HEB), s/s milk (part HEA) and an apple for brekkie, ham salad for lunch and this was #dinner. 1 syn for sausages👍 Toast is part HEB ✅
I guess I better give you my post holiday weigh in results now… As I said above, my home scales showed almost half a stone gain so I wasn’t expecting to lose it all by weigh in, but some would have been nice. I wasn’t really nervous stepping on the scales this week due to knowing I would have a gain, it was just a case of seeing how much! The scales flickered a little then showed I had a 3.5lb gain – I was actually quite pleased with this!
I’ve decided I like EESP a bit more now so I think I might do it again this week for a couple of days, maybe here and there rather than in a row. I know that it definitely boosts losses and helps with slip ups, so it’s all good. 🙂
