Hello spring! You sprang up fast! (Get it?…) Anyway, though it felt like spring only a few days ago with sunshine and warmth, the weather has soon changed again. Though this is the UK, so I’m not sure what I expected really. I think I might have cursed it by digging out my spring clothes and washing them to freshen them up, and putting away my jumpers…
My spring wardrobe does need a bit of an update though. Whenever I sort my clothes out according to the season, I usually pop some to the charity shop as I tend to change my mind about liking them. It does some good for others, plus it gives me an excuse to replace them with fresh new ones…
This black floral layered cullotte jumpsuit is a great price at £29 and perfect for both dressing down in the daytime, and dressing up in the evening.
I like being comfortable during the day so heels are something I save for the rare evening out! I’m usually found wearing flat boots, sandals, pumps, or trainers in the daytime so these Hush Puppies Rosie espadrille shoes would be my choice of footwear to go with this jumpsuit. The colour complements the pattern perfectly!
Though the weather has brightened up again at the minute, we all know the UK weather can change in the blink of an eye so I’d keep this Apricot cropped cardigan to hand for when it gets chilly.
I have so many “things” I carry around with me that I more often than not have a bag with me – usually a cross body bag. I think the colours of this Petal Dolls Paradisa bag go perfectly with the rest of the outfit. The white, green & pink in the outfit is a great spring fashion look.
It’s not often I go “out out”, so when I do I like to dress up a bit. It’s pretty much the only time you’ll see me wearing heels too! These Ravel Melrose stiletto sandals are gorgeous – and because they’re plain & white they don’t clash with the jumpsuit pattern. I like a clutch bag when I’m out out, but the chain strap on this Accessorize Emily bow clutch means I could wear it on my shoulder too if I wish. As with the shoes, the colour wouldn’t clash with the jumpsuit and it matches the footwear.
How about you? Do you have a particular outfit that you like to take from day-to-night with a change of accessories?
