I like doing crafts on my own as I can control how much mess I make – and because I’ve made it, I don’t mind it quite as much. But when they boys mention the word “crafts” or “paint” I die a little inside. To be honest, I’d rather they just kept that part at school so I don’t have to clear up the aftermath! Or end up doing it for them… And then I met Little Brian paint sticks. My. Life. Has. Changed.
Looking for something new to do with the children where you can have all the fun with less of the mess? Well, look no further thanks to Little Brian and our range of Paint Sticks which launched to rave reviews from both the parents as well as kids of all ages!
The boys were very kindly sent a pack of each of Little Brian paint sticks, Little Brian mini paint sticks, and Little Brian chalk sticks. They couldn’t wait to get started on some masterpieces – and to be honest, neither could I!
The paint sticks are SO easy to use, requiring no water or brushes (phew!). All you need to do is take off the cap, twist the bottom just like a glue stick, and get creating.
It’s really surprising how long they take to dry too – they are literally touch dry within seconds so no need for a drying space in the kitchen either! The boys have only used them on paper and cardboard, but they can also be used on surfaces such as canvas, wood, and even windows – as it wipes off!
The chalk sticks are totally mess free too. They look just like a wax crayon, but go onto the surface actually. Like. Chalk. So there is none of that annoying chalk dust that gets everywhere, either!
Since the boys have had these, they haven’t even mentioned using the regular poster paints which is such a relief. It also reminds me, I need to sneak them out of the house whilst they’ve forgotten about them…
I don’t think we’ll ever go back to using poster paints – unless we do something that specifically needs it. Though I do think these will suffice for pretty much anything! I’m officially converted to Little Brian paint sticks for everyday arts & crafts.
