I know. I mentioned the Christmas word. Yep, I said it again. But, I’m one of those people who starts getting excited about Christmas in September, so you’re lucky it’s taken me this long, really! Not so much Christmas present shopping, but I love browsing and buying everything else Christmas; books, decorations, crafts, movies – I could spend a fortune! I love visiting our local The Works as they stock so many bargain bits & pieces, and I find them great for gifts, also.
I’ve recently been browsing the Christmas section of The Works website and have put together a little wishlist. Just in case anybody is planning already, like me. 😉 I do have an even longer list in my head though!
The Great British Bake Off Christmas
If you’re a regular reader of my blog then you will know I love GBBO, and as I’ve already mentioned, I also love Christmas. So it’s quite understandable that this book should be on my Christmas wish list! If i’m on the hunt for a particular book, The Works is always one of the first places I will visit.
Festive Ribbon Trim
I love the Nordic red & white design on this ribbon. It’s perfect for adding to handmade cards, handmade decorations, sprucing up your Christmas dinner table, or just adding that finishing touch to gift wrapping.
Gingerbread House Cookie Cutter Kit
I love getting my bake on, especially at Christmas time and filling the house with smells of Christmas spices; especially gingerbread! I have never actually made a gingerbread house though, just because I can’t be bothered with the messing about of cutting out patterns for it. This kit looks great to make it easier though, and it would be fun for the boys to join in with too!
Fill Your Own Hampers Kit
I love giving homemade hampers for gifts, not just at Christmas but for birthdays too, or special occasions such as Mother’s Day. I always visit The Works for these kits as they are great quality and come with all the bits you need to package your hamper up. They are especially great for Christmas foodie hampers!
Mum’s Family Organiser
Since Jacob was born, I’ve always bought a family organiser calendar; one that has a column for each person. I find it much easier to keep track of who needs to be where, and when; even more so now J is at school! I know this one could be a little bit sexist, but I am the one who organises everything in our house. 😉
What’s on your Christmas wishlist from The Works?
