After last week’s weigh in and feeling like I was back in the zone, I was raring to go to get that 2lb loss to get into that next stone bracket. I was on it all week, though we did go out for a carvery on Sunday but I filled my plate with veg; a few syns were possibly used on gravy, and stuffing, and a Yorkshire pudding… oh. Oops! I kept my syns down after that though to try and balance it out.
I’ve been eating a lot more speed food again too though I’m not properly back on it with meal planning yet. I think after we come back from our holiday at the end of the month I will start with that again. I have still been keeping a food diary which does help with regards to tracking syns and how much speed food I am eating.
I’ve also still been posting my meals to Instagram – I was pretty astounded when a plate of ham, eggs, and veg received 80 likes!

So on to weigh in. After a (mostly) good week, I was feeling pretty confident of a loss, though I wasn’t expecting that I would actually get the 2lb I wanted as I very rarely lose that much in a week, but as usual I would have been happy with anything really. So when I stepped on the scales to see I had a 0.5lb gain, I was actually pretty gutted and grumpy as I thought I had it in the bag and couldn’t think where it may have come from. And then when I left group, I remembered… We went to a friend’s on Wednesday and I lost my willpower around cake, and ate far too much… I am so annoyed with myself as I only have myself to blame!
We are out for a review meal on Saturday evening but I will keep my syns down a little during the week, and afterwards will do EESP before weigh in on Tuesday as it is the last one before we go away.
