weekly weigh in

After last week’s weigh in and yet another maintain but managing that photo of the “fat jeans”, I was feeling a bit more determined and in the zone. I did a little more meal planning last week and I was on it for most of the week; we did have a meal out one evening and I did go for a healthier option, but I couldn’t resist cake… Oops. I ate a lot of speed fruit & veg though, started a food diary again, and stayed mostly within my syns so I think that really helped.

I must have been back in the right frame of mind because there was one day when I had just gone over my syns , so instead of thinking “Oh, just one more biscuit won’t hurt because it’s only a couple more syns”, I sat and had a plate of speed fruit instead, and I actually felt good for it because I had made a good choice! I think once you are in that right frame of mind and making the better choices, it is so much easier to stay there; it’s just getting back there when we have lost our way a little in the first place.

I’ve also been back to sharing my meals on Instagram and I have a feed full of food again now, so before weigh in, here are a few from this week:

So on to weigh in. I went to group feeling quite confident for a loss this week (as I had also been naughty and stepped on my home scales too) and so I was pretty pleased when I saw a 1.5lb loss! I was hoping for a little more, but I think that has pretty much been my average. Though 2lb would be nice for next week, then I will be in that next stone bracket and even closer to my target!

Slimming World weigh in 59

My stats for this week (week 59)

  • loss so far – 3st 3lb
  • Club 10 target weight – 11st 13.5lb
  • final target weight – 9st 7lb
