Slimming World weigh in #9 – the one with two awards!

After my last few rubbish weeks I decided that this week I was going to be right back on track as I was determined to get that one stone shiny! And this week I was back on track. I synned everything I should have, stopped stealing the boys’ food, stayed within my syns every day and ate healthy home cooked meals all week. I felt much better for it too. I also noticed my clothes have started to get a little baggy so I decided to measure myself and since measuring at the beginning of February I have lost 1.5 inches all over (well, mainly from my waist), which is great! I’m going to try and remember to measure myself monthly so I can see progress off the scales as well as on. Talking of off the scales progress, I also had a NSV when I managed to get into a size 12 top, from Primark! (Where I usually have to go up a size). I have to admit I think it’s supposed to be a baggy top, but still, you know…

So, onto my weigh in. I was so nervous as when I was aiming for my half stone award, I weighed in at half a pound off it so I was a bit gutted. I needn’t have been worried though, as this week I lost 3lb! I was totally over the moon with that as it took me over my one stone loss as well!

I also managed to get slimmer of the week again (for the third time – I’m building up quite a collection of certificates now, I’m going to need a new fridge!).

As for next week, I’m just aiming for a loss as we’ve had two days of celebration for J’s third birthday, though I’m already trying to pull it back so I’ll be happy with even half a pound off.
My stats for this week (week 9):

  • starting weight – 13st 4.5lb
  • previous weight – 12st 7lb
  • current weight – 12st 4lb
  • loss this week – 3lb
  • loss so far – 1st 0.5lb
  • Club 10 target weight – 11st 13.5lb
  • final target weight – 9st 6lb

How are you getting on?

  1. Well done on losing your full stone! I bet you were over the moon when they announced it. It's great that you've found a diet that's working for you. Popping in from Magic Moments
