You may have noticed there hasn’t been a Slimming World update from me for a couple of weeks – not because I’ve fallen off the wagon and stopped posting like usually happens – just that life has got in the way, and I haven’t got around to it yet, so there are two weeks in one for this post.
The last two weeks have been pretty much the same, if I’m honest – I said above about not falling off the wagon – well, I kind of feel I’m heading that way. Nothing in particular has taken me off track; it’s just rubbish meals here and there and maybe snacking on things I shouldn’t be, so I’m going over my syns. I know exactly what the problem is – I stopped meal planning after the first few weeks, so now I’ve been back to deciding what to eat on the day, which often ends up a last-minute thing leading to rubbish food. So, my plan for next week is to start writing a full meal plan again to know exactly where I am.
Anyway, on to my weigh-ins. Both weeks I was expecting a maintain or gain, so I was happy when in week 6 I lost 0.5lb and was absolutely over the moon at my 7th weigh in when I lost 1.5lb, especially as it was N’s birthday at the weekend and I consumed copious amounts of chocolate cake!
I’m not expecting much of a loss, if any, next week, as I’ve been pretty much the same this week as the last two. Starting next week though I will be fully back on the wagon, I’m determined, as I have that first stone loss in my sights now!
My stats for this week (week 6):
- starting weight – 13st 4.5lb
- previous weight – 12st 10lb
- current weight – 12st 9.5lb
- loss this week – 0.5lb
- loss so far – 9lb
- Club 10 target weight – 11st 13.5lb
- final target weight – 9st 6lb
My stats for this week (week 7):
- starting weight – 13st 4.5lb
- previous weight – 12st 9.5lb
- current weight – 12st 8lb
- loss this week – 1.5lb
- loss so far – 10.5lb
- Club 10 target weight – 11st 13.5lb
- final target weight – 9st 6lb
I hope everyone is getting on okay.
P.S. I have a tip I discovered at group a couple of weeks ago – when measuring out porridge oats, a Fry Light lid filled to the brim equals 35g!
