Last week I managed to stick to the meal plan for 6 out 7 days (or 5 out of 6 if you don’t count Saturday). Only Thursday didn’t go to plan as J & I fell asleep before tea time and hubby didn’t wake us up. Then when I did wake up at 7 pm, I tried to wake J for some tea but he just moaned so we put him to bed and he didn’t wake until morning! So hubby & I had a cheeky takeaway, oops…
Meal plan for w/c 4th August:
Monday – Pesto, tomato, mozzarella & spinach puff pastry tart with cous cous
Tuesday – Cauliflower cheese with homemade chicken escalopes
Wednesday – Spaghetti bolognese
Thursday – Butternut squash risotto
Friday – Peppered mackerel with new potatoes & green beans
Saturday – Steak & homemade chips
Sunday – Slow cooked lemon & garlic chicken with veg
