Yes that’s right, we’re moving on…


Moving to a new home! Finally. After battling for the past 5 months (and counting). We currently live in a 1st floor maisonette, which isn’t ideal with a small (getting big) baby, having to descend and climb 4 flights of stairs multiple times a day. I do love this place, the area and neighbours aren’t ideal, but the actual maisonette, we’ve been here nearly 2 years now and it feels like home. I wish we could just pick it up and move it to right next to the ground, then we’d be just fine! 


As it is, we’re moving to a ground floor flat. Still not our ideal home, but it’s got to be better than here, and not having to do the dreaded descent and climb every day! It’ll be like a whole new start for us, with our little man in tow. A whole new redecoration project, though husband can do the labour while I do the design and supervision! I already have everything planned out in my head.


Little man will also be moving to his own room. He does have his own room here, but he’s in ours currently, as his is full of junk… I really don’t want to let him go, and I’m really dreading it, but it has to be done at some point, so no better time than when we move. Hopefully he’ll love his own cool room, when he’s old enough to take notice of course!


So now we have the mammoth task of de-cluttering and packing, for the next couple of weeks until we get our keys. 

Something else for us to look forward to!
