As you may have seen in my last weigh in update, I finally got my half stone award after four weigh ins. I was absolutely ecstatic as I think over the many years and attempts of trying to lose weight, that is the best I have ever done. I am really loving Slimming World (though I have had my doubts about it before, but that’s a whole other post) and hoping I can continue with it up until I get to my target weight, and afterwards of course as really it is just about making healthier choices.

So, to my latest weigh in. Being totally honest, I was expecting a gain or at least a maintain as we had had a fish & chip tea on the previous Friday at my father-in-laws and although I could have had the fish as free if I’d removed the batter, I hadn’t realised until I got home and checked my book! I kept my syns low for the next few days anyway to counteract it and I did right, because I managed to lose another 1lb this week! (Even though I couldn’t look at the scales when I got on them because of my expectations).

So I still have another 5.5lb to go until I have lost one stone, but I’m in no rush this time around.

My stats for this week (week 5):

  • starting weight – 13st 4.5lb
  • previous weight – 12st 11lb
  • current weight – 12st 10lb
  • loss this week – 1lb
  • loss so far – 8.5lb
  • Club 10 target weight – 11st 13.5lb
  • final target weight – 9st 6lb

Any losses to report from you guys?
